ALEXANDRA BROWN is an attorney with Meeks, Sheppard, Leo & Pillsbury LLP in Orange County, California. She advises clients on a wide range of customs law matters, including tariff classification, valuation, penalties, prior disclosures, seizures, and antidumping issues.
Prior to joining the firm in 2025, Alex served as an attorney with the Office of the Associate Chief Counsel for U.S. Customs and Border Protection in the Los Angeles Field Office, where she gained extensive experience in enforcement and regulatory matters involving import compliance.
Before entering the legal profession, Alex worked as a customs compliance analyst for Harbor Freight Tools, where she managed import operations and regulatory compliance. She also earned a U.S. Customs Broker license in 2019 (currently inactive).
Alex received her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center in 2022. She is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and focuses her work on helping importers navigate the complexities of U.S. customs regulations.
